Ingredients:
| 1 cup flour, sifted |
| 1/4 teaspoon salt |
| 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened |
| 1/4 cup sugar |
| 1 large egg yolk |
| 1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
| 1/2 cup blanched almonds, ground |
| 1 12 ounce jar seedless raspberry jelly |
Almond Jelly Tarts Directions
- Sift flour and salt together. Cream butter or margarine and sugar together in bowl. Add egg yolk and almond extract. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in all mines. Press small pieces of dough into the small tart molds To form thin shell. Presto it's slightly thicker at top edge for easier removal. Freeze 1/2 hour. Place dough filled molds on cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned .Transfer to wire racks; cool. This and tarts from pans with tip of paring knife; turn out of pants. Before serving, fill with jelly. Makes two dozen one and ¾ inch parts or 1 1/2 dozen 2 1/4 inch tarts.
