Does salt baking soda and baking powder in a small amount of water.
Put this and the rest of the ingredients together and beat until light and fluffy.
Mix in 4 to 6 cups of flour Intel dough is just firm enough so it won't stick to your hands.
Roll balls into the size of a walnut; push a hole in the ball and put some of the filling inside.
Close the hole.
Bake the filled balls of doug in a 350° oven for 12 minuts.
While the cookies are baking, chop 1 1/2 pounds of walnuts finely.
When cookies are cool, take a slotted spoon and dip the cookies in syrup and roll in the nuts, convering them completely.
