Boil water, potatoes, carrots, celery, onions and salt and pepper till soft. (10-12 minutes)
Blend in a saucepan, butter, flour, milk, cheddar cheese, until a thick sauce forms
Add to the boiling vegetables and throughly mix well.
Serve hot.
Tasty with sourdough bread bowls.
