Ingredients

Soup

2 cups water
2 cups `potatoes, skinned and diced
0.5 cup carrots, sliced
0.5 cup celery, diced
0.25 cup onion, chopped finely
1 tsp salt
0.25 tsp pepper fresh ground
0.25 cup butter
0.25 cup flour
2 cup milk
2 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Cheddar Vegetable Soup Directions

  1. Boil water, potatoes, carrots, celery, onions and salt and pepper till soft. (10-12 minutes)
  2. Blend in a saucepan, butter, flour, milk, cheddar cheese, until a thick sauce forms
  3. Add to the boiling vegetables and throughly mix well. 
  4. Serve hot.
  5. Tasty with sourdough bread bowls.
