Banana Bread

0.5 cup shortening
0.67 cup sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
1.75 cup flour
2.75 tsp baking powder
0.5 tsp salt
1 cup bananas mashed

Banana Bread II Directions

  1. Beat shortening intil creamy.
  2. Add sugar; beat until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs; beat until thick.
  4. Add dry ingredients alternately with banana; blend thoroughly.
  5. Grease bottom only of 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 3 inch loaf pan.
  6. Turn batter into pan.
  7. Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes.
