Chocolate Chunk Cookies
0.5 cup unsalted butter, cold |
0.75 cup brown sugar |
0.5 cup granulated sugar |
1.5 Tbs molasses |
0.5 tsp salt |
1 large egg, beaten |
1 tsp vanilla |
0.5 tsp baking powder |
0.5 tsp baking soda |
0.75 cup old-fashioned oats |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips. |
Chocolate Chunk Cookies Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Place cookiesheet in Freezer before starting the cookie dough.
- In a large bowl, beat butter until smooth, add the brown and granulated sugar, craming them all together.
- Add the molasses, salt, egg, and vanilla, blending well.
- Next, add the flour, baking powder and baking soda. stirring until blended
- Stir in the oats, and chocolate.
- Lin the colled cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Use a ice cream scoop or a tablespoon to make large cookies, droppin each on parchment paper.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Move to wire rack when done to cool.
