Ingredients:
0.5 cup bread crumbs |
0.25 cup milk |
1 pound ground beef |
1 large egg |
0.5 cup parsley, chopped |
0.25 cup chopped onion |
0.13 teaspoon garlic powder |
0.25 teaspoon oregano, crumbled |
1 teaspoon salt |
0.25 teaspoon pepper |
2 Tablespoon butter or margarine |
2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar |
2 cups hot, white rice |
Parsley Meatballs Directions
- Salt breadcrumbs in milk until soft. Combine meat, eggs, parsley, onion, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and soaked bread crumbs in large mixing bowl.
- Blend thoroughly.
- Form into balls about one-inch in diameter.
- Heat butter or margarine in large skillet. Brown meatballs on all sides.
- Remove meat balls to heated serving dish.
- Pour vinegar into hot skillet; blend until meat droppings are dissolved. Pour over meatballs.
- Serve with rice.
- Sprinkle rice with chopped parsley, if desired.
- Makes four servings
