Ingredients

Panocha

1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbs butter
2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup half and half
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 Tbs corn syrup

Panocha candy Directions

  1. Mix sugars, milk, syrup, and butter.
  2. Cook until it reaches a soft ball stage on your candy thermometer (234°)
  3. Then cool mixture to 110 degrees F by placing the pan in another pan of cold water, changing water several times until candy registers 110 degrees F.
  4. Beat candy until it's very smooth and creamy.
  5. Add walnuts and  vanilla and knead
  6. cut into squares
