Panocha
1 cup brown sugar |
2 Tbs butter |
2 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup half and half |
1 tsp vanilla |
1/2 Tbs corn syrup |
Panocha candy Directions
- Mix sugars, milk, syrup, and butter.
- Cook until it reaches a soft ball stage on your candy thermometer (234°)
- Then cool mixture to 110 degrees F by placing the pan in another pan of cold water, changing water several times until candy registers 110 degrees F.
- Beat candy until it's very smooth and creamy.
- Add walnuts and vanilla and knead
- cut into squares
