Ingredients

Ceviche

1 lb fresh sea bass, halibut, etc
1 cup lime juice
1 medium onion, chopped fine
2 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
4 Tbs olive oil
1 Tbs white vinegar
1/2 cup chilis chopped (can use 1 cup if desired)
1/2 tsp dry oregano (2 tsp if desired)
1 salt & pepper to taste

Ceviche I Directions

  1. Cut fish into bite-sized pieces or cubes.
  2. Marinate fish in lime juice 2 - 6 hours in refrigerator.
  3. Pour off almost all of the lime juice.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients (not in a blender) and add to fish.
  5. Mix well, cover and let stand in refrigerator overnight.
