Watergate
1 cup flour |
1 Tbs butter, softened |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened |
1 13 ounce package Cool Whip, halved |
1 3.9 ounce packages Instant pudding (chocolate, butterscotch, pistachio) |
2 1/2 cups cold milk |
1 cup toasted coconut, or chopped walnuts for garnish |
Watergate Directions
- Mix the flour, butter and walnuts together and spread on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes; cool.
- Mic the powdered sugar, cream cheese together till smooth.
- Fold in 1/2 of the Cool Whip.
- Spread voer the colled crust.
- Mix the pudding and cold milk.
- Spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread over the remining Cool Whip
- Top with toasted cocoanut, cuooled or chopped nuts for garnish
