Tempura Batter
1 cup flour |
1/2 cup cornstarch |
1/8 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp MSG |
1 large egg |
1 tsp baking powder |
1 1/2 cup water |
Tempura Directions
- Mix in order and stir lightly: Almost any type seafood can be dipped into this batter and fried in an electric fry pan. Wesson oil is among the best use.
- Also any vegetables may be used.
- Cut crosswise; eggplant, carrots, green beans, mushrooms, watercress, green onions, onions, sweet potatoes, asparagus, parsley, bell pepper, and zucchini.
