Chipotle Steak
1 1/2 pound top sirloin steak |
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt to taste |
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper |
2 7 ounce cans Chipotle pepper with adobo sauce |
1 teaspoon vegetable oil |
Copycat Chipotle Marinated Steak Directions
- Season the steak with salt and pepper making sure to get both sides
- put the steak in a ziplock bag, add the chipotle peppers and sauce, tossing to coat.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours but better if overnight.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the steak, cooking for 5 minutes on each side.
- Remove the steak and let rest for 5 minutes,
- slice into bite-sized pieces.
