Ingredients:

12 large pickling cucumbers
2 large red peppers
2 large green peppers
1 quart small onions ( about 1
1 large cauliflower
1 cup salt
1 gallon water
3 cup sugar
1 pint water
1 quart vinegar
2 Tablespoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon tumeric
1 1/2 cup prepared mustard

Pickled Vegetables Directions

  1. Place cucumber, red pepper, green pepper, onion, cauliflower in salt and water and soak overnight. Next day, drained and wash. Boil that 3 cups of sugar water and vinegar.
  2. Add the other spices and pour over the vegetables boil 15 minutes and add hot to sterilize jars. Process. 
  3. Makes 12 to 13 pints
