Ingredients

Split Pea Soup

2 cups dry split peas
1 carrot, diced
1 small potato, peeled and cubed
1 small onion, chopped
1 ham bone
2 quarts boiling water
1 dash salt to taste
1 dash pepper to taste

Split Pea Soup Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large covered casserole.
  2. Cook in microwave for approximately 35 minutes.
  3. Stir every 10 minutes until done.
