Ingredients

chutney

1 lb red or yellow plums
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup onion
3 Tbs orange juice
2 Tbs vinegar
1/2 tsp ground allspice
2 Tbs raisins
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt

Plum Chutney Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, covered.
  4. Remove cover and cook 10 minutes more until desired consistency.
  5. Chill at least 24 hours before serving.
