Ingredients

Quiche Lorraine

2 9-inch, frozen pie shells
10 ounces Swiss cheese, grated
2 cups Half & Half
1/8 tsp pepper
1 pinch nutmeg
10 slices bacon
6 large eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 pinch cayenne pepper

Quiche Lorraine Directions

  1. Thaw pie shells.
  2. Fry bacon; crumble and arrange with the cheese in bottom of shell.
  3. Blend the remining ingredients well and pour into the shells.
  4. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 20 minutes longer.
