Ingredients

Souvlaki

5 lbs meat, i.e. turkey, pork or lamb cut into cubes (pork tenderloin is great)
1/2 Tbs Salt
1/2 Tbs Pepper
1/4 cup oregano (1/2 cup if fresh)
1 tsp garlic
2 Tbs olive oil

Greek Souvlaki Directions

  1. Mix and rub spices into meat.
  2. Marinate 24 hours.
  3. Place on skewers.
  4. Grill
  5. Brush with butter while grilling, if desired.
  6. Drizzle lemon juice on meat when done.

Notes

Great if served with a Greek salad, fresh pita, and feta cheese
