Ingredients
Bacon Cheeseburger
1 lb ground beef |
2 Tbs onion, finely chopped |
2 Tbs chili sauce |
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce |
2 tsp prepared mustard |
4 slices American Cheese, diagonally halved |
2 slices Swiss cheese, diagonally halved |
4 hamburger buns, toasted |
lettuce (optional) |
tomato (sliced) |
onion, sliced (optional) |
Bacon, cooked (optional) |
Ketchup (optional) |
mustard (optional) |
Bacon Cheeseburger Directions
- Put hamburger in a bowl along with onion, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and prepared mustard
- Mix throughly but lightly
- Shape into 4 patties..
- Grill on an oiled rack over medion heat covered, until juices run clear. About 6 minutes each side.
- During the last minute cooking, add two triangles of American cheese and 1 triangle of the Swiss Cheese.
- Serve on buns.
- If desired, top with lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, ketchup and mustard.
