| 1 1/2 quarts fresh strawberries |
| 1 cup sugar |
| 3 Tablespoons cornstarch |
| 2 Tablespoons lemon juice |
| 1 9 inch pie crust |
Strawberry Pie Directions
- Wash and capped the strawberries reserving half of them - the largest and best looking.
- Brush the rest of the berries and add the sugar and cornstarch, mix together. Cook five or 6 minutes until clear and thick. Stir and the lemon juice. Cool.
- Pour into bake pie shell. Chill.
- Just before serving top with whipped cream and garnish with remainder whole berries.
