Ingredients
Ingredients:
4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced |
3 large carrots, peeled and sliced |
1 large onion, chopped |
3 stalk celery, chopped |
1 12 ounce can peas |
3/4 pound butter |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper (to taste) |
1 15 ounce jar cheese whiz |
1 16 ounce package hot dogs, sliced (optional) |
1 9 ounce package oyster crackers |
Cheese Soup Directions
- By some boil potatoes, carrots, onions, celery and 3 quarts of water until tender.
- Melt ¾ pounds of butter gradually in flower until grainy. Add one can of chicken broth and blend until gravy consistency. Add gravy peas and jar of cheese was to the veggie pot. Alternatively, add hot dogs to soup.
- Heat until warm. Top with oyster crackers.
- Serve.
