Ingredients:

1 28 ounce can tomatoes
2 slices onion
1 bayleaf
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 Tablespoon butter
2 tablepsoon flour
1 1/2 cups milk

Cream of Tomato Soup Directions

  1. Combine the first six ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan. Simmer 10 minutes; sieve. Make a white sauce of butter, flower, and milk. Slowly add hot tomato mixture stirring constantly. Serve at once.
  2. Serves six
