Ingredients

Granola

8 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
6 cups wheat flakes
2 cups untoasted wheat germ
3 cups coconut
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup honey
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla

Granola Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  2. Combine oats wheat flakes, wheat germ, coconut, Brown suga,r honey, and mix thoroughly.
  3. Add vegetable oil water and vanilla.
  4. mix thoroughly.
  5. Bake in over for about 1 hour or until granola is slightly dry

Notes

Feel free to add dates, raisins, dried cranberries, or any dried fruit, chopped into small bits that your family will like. Adding almonds and nuts are a great idea too!
