Ingredients

Granola Bar Cookies

2 sticks butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup applesauce
1/3 cup water
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
6 cup oatmeal
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup coconut
3/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Granola Bar Cookies Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine butter, sugars, applesauce, water, eggs and vanilla.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, oatmeal, and baking soda.
  3. Add combined flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix well.
  4. Combine coconut, raisin, dried cranberries and walnuts,
  5. Add to butter mixture and mix well.
  6. Spread in a large shallow baking dish or 2 9 x 13 inch dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  7. Cook at 375° for 12 minutes or until edges are golden and middle is moist but not gooey.
  8. Cut into squares.
