Ingredients

Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
3 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 6 ounce package chocolate chips
1/2 cups walnuts, chopped (optional)

Chocolate Chip Cookies Directions

  1. Melt butter in a medium-size mixing bowl in microwave.
  2. Add white and brown sugar to hot butter and stir.
  3. Set aside to cool.
  4. Mix flour, soda, and salt in a 4 cup measuring cup and set aside.
  5. In a small bowl, beat eggs lightly with a fork.
  6. Stir in vanilla.
  7. Add to cooled butter mixture.
  8. Add flour/soda/salt mixture, 1 cup at a time to butter egg mixture.
  9. Add Chocolate chips as desired.
  10. Chopped nuts are also an option.
  11. Make sure all ingredients are mixed well.
  12. Place dough in fridge for 30 -45 minutes to cool.
  13. Drop dough by tablespoon onto cookie sheed and bake for 12 minutes at 350°.
