Ingredients

Salad

1 head Napa cabbage, chopped
1 10 ounce bag baby spinach
1 medium jicama, peeled and diced
1 med red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 Tbs brown sugar
1 Tbs butter
1 cup slivered almonds
1 12 ounce bag raisins
1 12 ounce bottle poppy seed dressing

Jill's Different Spinach Salad Directions

  1. Add finely chopped cabbage to spinach.
  2. Toss in jicama and red pepper strips.
  3. Brown slivered almonds in brown sugar and butter.
  4. Add to salad along with the raisins.
  5. Toss well.
  6. Just before serving, toss with poppy seed dressing.
