Ingredients

Salad

3 Tbs butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1 head green or red lettuce, torn
4 cup spring mix
1 med jicama, cut in thin strips
6 large kiwi, liced
1 bunch green or purple grapes, cut in halves
2 cups strawberries, sliced

Dressing

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
1/3 cup orange juice
1 cup olive oil
1 0.7 ounce pkg Good seasons Italian dressing mix

Spring Salad with Orange Dressing Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a small skillet.
  2. Add sugar and almonds
  3. Stir until sugar si dissolved and almonds are coted.
  4. Cool.
  5. Combine Lettuce, spring mix, jicama, kiqi, grapes, and strawberries in a large salad bowl.
  6. Add Sugared almonds
  7.  
  8. For the Dressing:
  9. Mix sugar, rice vinegar, orange juice, olive oil, and italian dressing mix.
  10. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  11. Serve with salad
