Ingredients

Pancakes

1 1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup uncooked whole wheat kernels
2 large eggs
2 Tbs oil
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 Tbs honey or brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt

Fruit Syrup

2 Tbs cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 12 ounce can frozen fruit juice concentrate

Blender Wheat Pancakes Directions

  1. Blend in blender the wheat and milk for 4-5 minutes or until batter is smooth
  2. Add eggs, oil, honey, and blend 30 seconds more.
  3. Add baking poder, soda and salt.
  4. Blend until well mixed
  5. Cook like any pancake.

Notes

Fruit syrup: Whisk 2 cornstarch into water.

Add frozen fruit juice concentrate and bring to a b oil. then stir until thickened, about 1 - 2 minutes.

NOTE: Cann add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 tsp allspice to apple juice.
