1 1/2 cup buttermilk |
1 cup uncooked whole wheat kernels |
2 large eggs |
2 Tbs oil |
2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp baking soda |
2 Tbs honey or brown sugar |
1/2 tsp salt |
Fruit Syrup
2 Tbs cornstarch |
1/2 cup water |
1 12 ounce can frozen fruit juice concentrate |
Blender Wheat Pancakes Directions
- Blend in blender the wheat and milk for 4-5 minutes or until batter is smooth
- Add eggs, oil, honey, and blend 30 seconds more.
- Add baking poder, soda and salt.
- Blend until well mixed
- Cook like any pancake.
Notes
Fruit syrup: Whisk 2 cornstarch into water.
Add frozen fruit juice concentrate and bring to a b oil. then stir until thickened, about 1 - 2 minutes.
NOTE: Cann add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 tsp allspice to apple juice.
