Rolls
1 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter |
3 1/2 cup flour |
2 Tbs yeast |
2 tsp salt |
2 Tbs sugar |
Easy Sunday Dinner Rolls Directions
- Microwave milk and butter on high for 2 minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup cold water.
- Stir together flour, salt, yeast, and sugar.
- Turn on mixture and add milk mixture.
- Knead on high for 5 minutes.
- Pour onto lightly floured (or spray counter with cooking spray.) countertop.
- Cover with clean dish towel;
- Let rise 15 minutes.
- Shape into balls and place in greased pan.
- Brush with melted butter.
- Let rise 15 minutes.
- Bake at 425° for 8 - 10 minutes.
Notes
This recipe makes great breadstick too. Just roll out dough to about 1/2-inch thickness.
Slice about 1-inch slices, butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Let rise 15 minutes and bake until lightly browned.
