Ingredients
Apple Pie
1 pastry for top and bottom of a pie |
6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced. |
1 Tbs cornstarch |
1/4 tsp salt |
3 Tbs butter, melted |
1 tsp cinnamon |
3 Tbs sugar |
1/3 cup Karo syrup |
Topping
1/4 cup brown sugar |
2 Tbs flour |
3 Tbs Karo syrup |
2 Tbs butter, softened |
1/4 cup pecans, chopped |
Apple Pie Delight Directions
- Mix cornstarch, salt, butter,cinnamon, sugar and Karo syrup.
- Put sliced apples in prepared pie dish and pour the cornstarch mix over the apples.
- Cover with top crust and bake at 425° for 45 minutes, or until done.
- Topping: mix all the topping ingredients. Spread over top of pie and return to oven for 10 minutes, or until melted.
