Ingredients

1/2 cup flour
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/3 cup melted butter
4 cups fresh or frozen fruit of your choice

Any Fruit Crisp Directions

  1. Mix together the dry ingredients.
  2. Add the melted butter and toss together, keeping the mixture pretty lumpy, but not dry.
  3. Arange fruit in a somewhat even layer on bottom of a 9 x 9 - inch pan (you can use a 9x13-inch pan if you double the recipe.)
  4. Cover with the topping mixture.
  5. Bake uncovered at 375° for about 30 minutes or until top is browned and fruit is juicy and bubbly.

Notes

Fruit suggestions:

- Strawberries, raspberries, and rhubarb

- Frozen raspberries and blackberries

- Apples, add 1 tsp cinnamon to topiing ingredients.

- Apples and cranberries
