Ingredients

Seasoned Fries

1 pound Yukon gold potatoes (about 3)
1 large bowl ice cold water
1 tsp celery seed
1 1/2 tsp celery salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
3 tsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Seasoned Fries Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°
  2. Sut potatoes into strips and place in a bowl of ice cols water and soak for 10-12 minutes, set aside
  3. In a bowl, stir together all the spices and set aside.
  4. Drain the water from the potatoes and dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  5. Place the fries on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Drizzle fries with olive oil, seasoned with some of the spice mix and toss the fries until each fry is evenly and completely coated.
  7. Make sure the fries are spread out to a single layer, using an additional sheet if needed.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle with more seasoning, stirring so the other side of the fries can be browned.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes more and remove when fries are a golde nbrown and crispy.
  11. Sprinkle with remaining seasoning if desired. 
  12. Serve immediately.
