Ingredients

French Fries

4 medium russet potatoes
1 Tbs olive oil
4 tsp dried, minced chives
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper

Baked French Fries Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450°
  2. Cut potatoes into 1/4 inch julienne strips.
  3. Risnse well in ice cold water for 1/2 hour. 
  4. Mix chives, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Set aside.
  5. Drain and pat dry putting fries into a bowl.
  6. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with spices.
  7. Toss to coat.
  8. Arrange on cooking spreayed cookie sheets in a single layer, (2- 15x10x1-inch cookiesheet or pan)
  9. Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until lightly browned, turning once to make sure all fries are a golden brown.
