Sweet Tea
4 cups boiling water |
3 large Lipton brand tea bags |
1 1/2 cup sugar |
Sweet Tea Directions
- Bring the water to a boil, pour into a 1 gallon tea pitcher.
- Add sugar, stirring to dissolve.
- Add three bags of tea to pitcher.
- Let the tea infuse into the water for at least 15 minutes. (longer they are left in, the stronger the tea will be.)
- Before the ware completely cools, remove the teabags from the water, gently squeezing out the excess tea.
- Finish by filling with cool water or ice cubes to the 1 galloon line.
- Serve immediately or chill.
- Serve over ice cubes.
