Ingredients

Sweet Tea

4 cups boiling water
3 large Lipton brand tea bags
1 1/2 cup sugar

Sweet Tea Directions

  1. Bring the water to a boil, pour into a 1 gallon tea pitcher.
  2. Add sugar, stirring to dissolve.
  3. Add three bags of tea to pitcher.
  4. Let the tea infuse into the water for at least 15 minutes. (longer they are left in, the stronger the tea will be.)
  5. Before the ware completely cools, remove the teabags from the water, gently squeezing out the excess tea.
  6. Finish by filling with cool water or ice cubes to the 1 galloon line.
  7. Serve immediately or chill.
  8. Serve over ice cubes.
