Ingredients

Meatloaf

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 tsp instant minced onion
1 15 ounce can tomato sauce (reserve 1/2)

Topping

1/2 reserved tomato sauce
2 Tbs brown sugar
2 Tbs vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp prepared mustard

Sweet & Sour Meatloaf Directions

  1. Mix together beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and eggs.
  2. Add onions and 1/2 of the tomato sauce.
  3. Form into a loaf in a 9 x 5 3-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan combine the topping ingredients; bring to a boil.
  6. Pour over meatloaf and cook 10 more minutes.
