Ingredients
Meatloaf
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1 cup dry bread crumbs |
1 tsp salt |
2 large eggs |
1 tsp instant minced onion |
1 15 ounce can tomato sauce (reserve 1/2) |
Topping
1/2 reserved tomato sauce |
2 Tbs brown sugar |
2 Tbs vinegar |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 tsp prepared mustard |
Sweet & Sour Meatloaf Directions
- Mix together beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and eggs.
- Add onions and 1/2 of the tomato sauce.
- Form into a loaf in a 9 x 5 3-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
- In a saucepan combine the topping ingredients; bring to a boil.
- Pour over meatloaf and cook 10 more minutes.
