Ingredients:
12 corn tortillas |
1/4 cup oil for frying |
Sauce:
2 Tablespoon oil |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 teaspoon oregano |
2 Tablesppons Jalepeno salsa or your favorite chili sauce |
1 dash salt |
1 lb Monterrey Jack Cheese |
1 pint sour cream, lightly salted |
Baked Sour Cream Tacos Directions
- For Sauce: Wilt onion in hot oil add tomatoes, oregano, salsa, jalapeno and salt. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes and set aside.
- Fry tortilla slightly in oil put some of sauce and cheese on each one and roll. Arrange in a buttered shallow baking dish. Pour remaining sauce in cheese over top of tacos. Spoon sour cream overall
- bake in 35o degree overn for 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Serves 6 to 12.
