Ingredients

Ingredients:

12 corn tortillas
1/4 cup oil for frying

Sauce:

2 Tablespoon oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 teaspoon oregano
2 Tablesppons Jalepeno salsa or your favorite chili sauce
1 dash salt
1 lb Monterrey Jack Cheese
1 pint sour cream, lightly salted

Baked Sour Cream Tacos Directions

  1. For Sauce: Wilt onion in hot oil add tomatoes, oregano, salsa, jalapeno and salt. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes and set aside. 
  2.  Fry tortilla slightly in oil put some of sauce and cheese on each one and roll. Arrange in a buttered shallow baking dish. Pour remaining sauce in cheese over top of tacos. Spoon sour cream overall
  3. bake in 35o degree overn for 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Serves 6 to 12.
