Ingredients:
| 5 Golden Delicious apples ( up to 7 if needed) |
| 1 Tablespoon lemon juice |
| 1/2 cup sugar |
| 1 teaspoon cinnamon |
| 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
| 1/4 teasoon salt |
| 2 Tablespoon flour (or tapioca) |

Golden Apple Pie Directions
- Peel apples, if desired. Slice 1/4 inch thick to equal two cups. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine sugar, spice, salt and flour. Toss with apples.
- Place into pastry and lined plate. Pat with butter or margarine. Adjusts top crust. Seal and flute edges, cut vents into crust.
- Bake at 400°about 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown and apples are tender.
- I have to cover with foil at the last to get apples tender and keep it from getting too brown.
