Ingredients:
| 1 lb hamburger |
| 1 large onion, chopped |
| 8 large potatoes, boiled and peeled |
| 1 10.75 ounce can cream of mushroom soup |
| 1/2 can evaporated milk |
| 1 8 ounce carton sour cream |
| 2 1/2 cup grated cheese |
Hamburger Helper in Early Form Directions
- Brown chopped onions until milky. Add hamburger and brown. Season with seasoned salt. Add pepper.
- Place onion and hamburger in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pyrex dish.
- And sliced (or cubed) potatoes. Combine mushroom soup, milk, sour cream. Mix well and pour over top of potatoes. Spread grated cheese overall. Bake covered in a 350° oven approximately 1/2 hour or until hot and bubbly.
- Melt: can use raw potatoes-just bake two HRS. Can also use canned potatoes however you will need 2 to 3 cans.
