Ingredients:
| 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine |
| 2 Tablespoons onion, finely chopped |
| 1 1/2 cup water |
| 1 teaspoon orange rind, grated |
| 1 cup orange juice (2 large ornages) |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
| 1/8 teaspoon marjoram, ground |
| 1 cup rice, uncooked |
Orange Rice Directions
- Melt butter or margarine in heavy saucepan; add onion; cook until tender. Add water, orange rind and juice, Salt, and marjoram. Bring to boiling; stir in rice slowly. Cover; reduce heat. Cook 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Makes four servings
- This recipe can also be made with a rice cooker. Just add all ingredients into the rice cooker, and start the cycle.
