Ingredients:
| 12 large pickling cucumbers |
| 2 large red peppers |
| 2 large green peppers |
| 1 quart small onions ( about 1 |
| 1 large cauliflower |
| 1 cup salt |
| 1 gallon water |
| 3 cup sugar |
| 1 pint water |
| 1 quart vinegar |
| 2 Tablespoons dry mustard |
| 1 teaspoon tumeric |
| 1 1/2 cup prepared mustard |
Pickled Vegetables Directions
- Place cucumber, red pepper, green pepper, onion, cauliflower in salt and water and soak overnight. Next day, drained and wash. Boil that 3 cups of sugar water and vinegar.
- Add the other spices and pour over the vegetables boil 15 minutes and add hot to sterilize jars. Process.
- Makes 12 to 13 pints
