Ingredients:
| 1 quart milk |
| 1/2 teaspoon plain yogurt, unpasteurized |
| 1 Tablespoon sugar (or more to taste) |
| 1/4 cup fresh fruit (to taste) |
Yogurt Directions
- Heat milk to 180°then cool 210°in top of cold water. Mix in yogurt and keep at a steady temperature for 4 to 5 hours or overnight. Put in fridge.
- For creamy yogurt: add half and half. You can also add sugar and fresh fruit.
- The yogurt is failed in 1½ inches of water to keep temperature steady, place bottle of yogurt in pan containing water at 110°. Place lid on top and wrapped in newspaper. Place in oven. Take chill off of oven before placing yogurt inside.
