Ingredients:
| 1 3 ounce package cherry jello, prepared and chilled |
| 1 3 ounce package lime jello, prepared and chilled |
| 1/2 cup butter |
| 1/4 cup sugar |
| 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
| 1 3/4 cup vanilla wafers, crushed finely |
| 1 envelope unflavored gelatin |
| 1 20 ounce can pineapple tidbits, juice reserved |
| 1 pint whipping cream |
| 1/2 cup sugar |
| 1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
| 1/4 cup cold water |
Broken Glass Salad Directions
- Salad needs to be prepared one day ahead.
- Prepare jello according to directions on back of the package Place each in its own dish and set in fridge till solid. when solid, chop into cubes.
- Mix butter, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla wafers until crumbly. Put half of mixture on the bottom of a nine by 12 baking dish and reserve the rest for the top.
- Dissolve one envelope of gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water stir in 1/4 cup of hot pineapple juice.Whip whipping cream and 1/2 cups sugar. Stir gelatin mixture into whipped cream. Add diced jello and pineapple tidbits. Pecans and pour into a wafer lined dish. Cut remaining way for mixture on top
