| 1 28 ounce can tomatoes |
| 2 slices onion |
| 1 bayleaf |
| 1 teaspoon sugar |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon pepper |
| 2 Tablespoon butter |
| 2 tablepsoon flour |
| 1 1/2 cups milk |
Cream of Tomato Soup Directions
- Combine the first six ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan. Simmer 10 minutes; sieve. Make a white sauce of butter, flower, and milk. Slowly add hot tomato mixture stirring constantly. Serve at once.
- Serves six
