Ingredients:
| 4 cup hot water |
| 1/2 cup shortening |
| 5 Tablespoon sugar |
| 1 Tablepsoon salt |
| 3/4 cup evaporated milk |
| 2 Tablespoon yeast |
| 1/2 cup instant potatoes |
| 3 large eggs |
| 12 cups flour (you can use up to 14 if needed) |
Potato Bread Directions
- Soften yeast in 1 cup warm water with 1 teaspoon of sugar.
- Place remaining ingredients and 6 cups of the flour in mixer. Let mixture knead for 10 minutes, add yeast and 6 cups of flour and need for 10 minutes adding more flower ½ cup a time until dough is not sticky.
- Unlock lid and let bread rise until it pushes lid up, punch down, form loaves. Let rise until rounded up of pans and bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake about 35 or 40 minutes. Makes six medium size loaves.
