Salad
| 3 Tbs butter or margarine |
| 1/2 cup sugar |
| 1/3 cup sliced almonds |
| 1 head green or red lettuce, torn |
| 4 cup spring mix |
| 1 med jicama, cut in thin strips |
| 6 large kiwi, liced |
| 1 bunch green or purple grapes, cut in halves |
| 2 cups strawberries, sliced |
Dressing
| 1/2 cup sugar |
| 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar |
| 1/3 cup orange juice |
| 1 cup olive oil |
| 1 0.7 ounce pkg Good seasons Italian dressing mix |
Spring Salad with Orange Dressing Directions
- Melt the butter in a small skillet.
- Add sugar and almonds
- Stir until sugar si dissolved and almonds are coted.
- Cool.
- Combine Lettuce, spring mix, jicama, kiqi, grapes, and strawberries in a large salad bowl.
- Add Sugared almonds
- For the Dressing:
- Mix sugar, rice vinegar, orange juice, olive oil, and italian dressing mix.
- Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Serve with salad
