Quiche Lorraine
| 2 9-inch, frozen pie shells |
| 10 ounces Swiss cheese, grated |
| 2 cups Half & Half |
| 1/8 tsp pepper |
| 1 pinch nutmeg |
| 10 slices bacon |
| 6 large eggs |
| 1/2 tsp salt |
| 1 pinch cayenne pepper |
Quiche Lorraine Directions
- Thaw pie shells.
- Fry bacon; crumble and arrange with the cheese in bottom of shell.
- Blend the remining ingredients well and pour into the shells.
- Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 20 minutes longer.
