| 2 cup flour |
| 1 tsp soda |
| 1/4 tsp salt |
| 1 cup brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup chopped pecans |
| 1 large egg |
| 1 tsp vanilla |
| 1 cup milk |
| 1/2 cup butter/margarine |
Brown Sugar Muffins Directions
- Sift dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
- Make a well in the center.
- Combine remaining ingredients and add all at once to dry ingredients.
- Stir quickly until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Drop batter by the tablespoon into greased muffin tins; fill 2/3 full.
- Bake at 400° oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Makes 12 muffins.
