Cronbread
| 2 cups buttermilk |
| 1 1/2 cup white cornmeal |
| 3 Tbs flour |
| 1 tsp baking soda |
| 1 tsp salt |
| 2 large eggs |
Buttermilk Cornbread Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°
- Mix dry ingredients together, then add buttermilk, then eggs; beat well.
- Using an iron skillet, greas bottom with preferably bacon grease or meat drippings.
- Sprinkle cornmeal into pan.
- Heat pan until grease melts, then add butter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
