Banana Bread
| 1/2 cup shortening |
| 2/3 cup sugar |
| 2 large eggs, beaten |
| 1 3/4 cup flour |
| 2 3/4 tsp baking powder |
| 1/2 tsp salt |
| 1 cup bananas mashed |
Banana Bread II Directions
- Beat shortening intil creamy.
- Add sugar; beat until fluffy.
- Add eggs; beat until thick.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with banana; blend thoroughly.
- Grease bottom only of 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 3 inch loaf pan.
- Turn batter into pan.
- Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes.
