Cake
| 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 28 creackers) |
| 3/4 cup chopped waltnuts |
| 3/4 cup packed brown sugar |
| 1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon |
| 3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted |
| 1 15.25 ounce package super moist cake mix (yellow, devils food, German chocolate, lemon or spice) |
| 1 cup water |
| 1/3 cup vegetable oil |
| 3 eggs |
Glaze
| 1 cup powdered sugar |
| 1 Tbs butter |
Graham Streusel Cake Directions
- Heat oven to 350°
- Grease and flour rectangular pan, 13 x 9 2-inch
- Mix cracker crumbs, nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, and margarine; reserve
- Beat cake mix, water, oil and eggs in large mixing bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly until moistened.
- Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl frequently, 2 minutes.
- Pour about 2 1/3 cups butter into pan; sprinkle with about 2 cups of reserved crumb mixture.
- Pour over remaining batter and top with remaining crumb mixture.
- Bake until cake spreings backwhen touched lightly in the center., 45-50 minutes.
- Cool
- Drizzle with powdered sugar glaze
- To Make Glaze: Mix powdered sugar and water, stir in additional water, 1 teaspoon at a time, until smooth and of desired consistency.
