Chocolate Chip Cookies
| 1 cup butter |
| 1 cup brown sugar |
| 1 cup white sugar |
| 3 cup flour |
| 1 tsp baking soda |
| 1/2 tsp salt |
| 2 large eggs |
| 2 tsp vanilla |
| 1 6 ounce package chocolate chips |
| 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped (optional) |
Chocolate Chip Cookies Directions
- Melt butter in a medium-size mixing bowl in microwave.
- Add white and brown sugar to hot butter and stir.
- Set aside to cool.
- Mix flour, soda, and salt in a 4 cup measuring cup and set aside.
- In a small bowl, beat eggs lightly with a fork.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Add to cooled butter mixture.
- Add flour/soda/salt mixture, 1 cup at a time to butter egg mixture.
- Add Chocolate chips as desired.
- Chopped nuts are also an option.
- Make sure all ingredients are mixed well.
- Place dough in fridge for 30 -45 minutes to cool.
- Drop dough by tablespoon onto cookie sheed and bake for 12 minutes at 350°.
