Maple Sausage Breakfast Patties
| 1 lb mild sausage or ground pork |
| 1 1/2 Tbs maple syrup |
| 1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke |
| 1/2 tsp salt |
| 1/2 tsp onion powder |
| 1/2 tsp rubbed sage |
| 1/2 tsp ground thyme |
| 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg |
| 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper |
Smoked Maple Sausage Directions
- Mix all of the ingredients except the sausage in a bowl.
- Add the sausage combining well, but too much as to make the meat rubbery when you cook it.
- Fry up in a skillet using medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
